!!! I heard another audiobook !!!
Cover: I like the cover of the film the most. The cover of the yellow audiobook I heard doesn't tell anything about the story. Also the bees aren't fitting - should be sheeps instead. The cover of this book I also like because it fits.
Narrator: The narrator has an agreeable voice. I enjoy listening to her. She reads calm and therefore and so i can use all my concentration on the action, which make the listening enjoyable.
Characters: Bathsheba is a confident, proud and strong woman. What I also like about her is that she doesn't feel too shame to do necessary work, even if it doesn't actually correspond to her status. While the plot I like Gabriel Oak more and more. I am not very sympathizising with the other men Boldwood and Troy. They seem to be superficial. But I liked Liddy in this story as well.
Plot: It was easy to get into the story. I liked Bathsheba from the beginning ongoing. Bathsheba is getting marriage proposals and also refuses them, which shows her confidence and she isn't as superficial to take a man she doesn't love. But the marriage proposals also cause to problems but it of course pricks their pride. All the time I was hoping that Bathsheba and Gabriel would become a couple and it was very interesting to see how Bathsheba acts with all the men. There are a lot of emotions included but in the extra lines - like tentativeness, sadness and of couse love. Bathsheba hasnÄt an easy live also as a woman in this position which includes commanding the men working for her. For me the marriage proposals came to fast and to ungainly - but it plays in another time. The end was as hoped and leaves me with a warm feeling in my heart.
I can definitely recommend this story.
