‘Atomic Habits’ is a step-by-step tutorial to create good habits and ban bad ones. I enjoyed that every chapter starts with a real-life reference. That does not only provide interesting facts but also works as an example to demonstrate Clear’s point. His advises are well written and well explained. I liked the summaries at the end of every chapter, too. There are also images that support the understanding. Overall, this book isa good source for everyone who wants to achieve something in life.

„A Universe FOR US“ erzählt die Geschichte von Leo und Cami, die beide die Elbury University besuchen. Beide spüren ab der ersten Begegnung, wie viel Ruhe sie in das chaotische Leben des anderen bringen, aber bleiben vorerst gefangen in den Zwängen anderer.
Das Cover reiht sich wunderbar zu dem 1. Band ein. Obwohl dies der 2. Band ist, kann man es unabhängig vom vorherigen lesen, da es in sich abgeschlossen ist, allerdings einen Hauch den 1. spoilert. Leo und Cami sind beide sehr sensibel, aber auch komplexe Charaktere, die beide an einem Punkt angekommen sind, wo sie nicht mehr weiterkönnen. Ihre Begegnungen sind zärtlich und intensiv. Nichts wird überstürzt. Besonders haben mir auch die Nebencharaktere gefallen, da sie eine tolle Freundschaft widerspiegeln und Rückhalt geben. Obwohl dieses Buch einen beim Lesen bewegt, würde ich es trotzdem als Wohlfühlbuch bezeichnen, weil ich oft lächeln und schmunzeln musste. Ich kann daher dieses Buch jedem ans Herz legen, der gern New Adult Liebesromane liest.

In ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’, the reader follows Harry to his 5th year at Hogwarts. There, he faces many challenges at ones. In school, the O.W.L. exams and a new terrible teacher trouble him. Furthermore, he is dreaming about a long corridor, its meaning being a mystery, and only a few seem to believe that Voldemort is really back.
Although 870 pages might seem a challenge to the reader, I can tell you that the reading is totally worth it. The great way of writing makes time fly. There is so much happening in the story and still, I never felt bored. I loved to see in which way it differs to the movie. I really enjoyed the whole story. To be honest, in the first part, I was a bit annoyed about Harry’s temper, but it made sense for the continuation of the plot. I can only recommend the book.

„Die Früchte, die man erntet“ ist der siebte Band der Reihe „Ein Fall für Sebastian Bergmann“ von Michael Hjorth Und Hans Rosenfeldt. In diesem Band gibt es plötzlich Morde, die in keinem Zusammenhang stehen. Sebastian selbst wird mit den Erlebnissen des Tsunamis konfrontiert.
Das Cover zum Buch finde ich sehr gelungen, da es passend zur Reihe einen großen Wiedererkennungswert hat. Ich persönlich würde es nicht empfehlen, den Band unabhängig von den Vorgängern zu lesen. Ich hatte Schwierigkeiten, mir am Anfang die Vielzahl der Charaktere zu merken. Auch fehlte mir das Vorwissen zum Tsunami.
Der Schreibstil hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war sehr flüssig zu lesen und auch der Umfang des Buches führte nie zu Langerweile. Zunächst war mir unklar, wie die verschiedenen Handlungen miteinander zu tun haben können. Doch nach und nach fügte sich eines zum anderen. Dies ist kein typischer Krimi gewesen. Er hört nicht auf, wenn der Fall gelöst ist. Die Handlung ist komplexer. Das Ende hat mich total überrascht.
Insgesamt kann ich das Buch nur empfehlen.

‘The Girl Who Saved Christmas’ is the sequel to ‘A Boy Called Christmas’ though they can be read individually. The book is about Amelia who suffers in a Victorian society and Father Christmas whose magic vanishes as hope starts to disappear.
This is a well thought through story with many great details. The young reader learns a lot about the Victorian society. It is a fun read and has great illustrations. It brings one in the right Christmas spirit. I also enjoyed how many brave females occur within the story. A lovely continuation of the first book.
