I had a really good time reading this first book of Kendare Blake´s new series. It was a real adventure to explore her writing-style, to dive into her kind of fantasy, her way of creating not only scenes and the plot but also her characters. And the psychological finesse you´ll find in this great written high fantasy novel is totally stunning. I am thrilled in a very special way and know for sure that I want to read the next book. Highly recommended.

The style was as known from the author: soft, well written and good to read. But the tone was darker as expected and it looked like the story wasn´t making any progress.

Simona Ahrnstedt shows a picture of the Swedish society, where things happen to little children and the youth office is looking away or ignoring it.

A well written conclusion to the High Stakes Trilogy.

Sophie Jordan has a wonderful way to describe scenes, landscapes, and her figures. She has a diversified treasury of words and her fantasy is beautiful. The story is told in the first-person perspective by Luna in some chapters and by Fowler in others. The writing style is simple and clear.

This new Sophie Jordan novel is a wonderful read that you shouldn´t miss. I enjoyed every word of it.

Marie Force has an easy way to describe things, to show how daily life can be filled with laughter, joy and happiness but also with problems, sorrow and pain. Touching, emotional and with very hot scenes is but still with the right amount of reality in it. A wonderful novel with lovely characters and things that make you laugh, sigh and that give you some very relaxed reading hours.

C. J. Daugherty´s style is soft, clear and very effective. She doesn´t need to be loud with her words to fascinate the reader.
That was great! Filled with action, two fantastic main characters and a story full of passion, love, darkness and magic. Wow, just wow.
