A classic book, that became better and better and then a bit worse at the end.

Narrator: I listened to this as an audiobook. The female narrator was good, so that I enjoyed listening to her.
Opinion: The first steps in this audiobook were in India and it was easy to follow. I pitied Mary because she received no love and was isolated. That results in a stubborn and presumptuous little girl which I didn't liked much at the beginning. As she has to leave India in a new environment and found joy in the nature and nice persons she became nicer and nicer, friendly and curious. I liked her there more and more. I liked the times in the garden, it was also nice to hear how Colin changed during this story. At the end it went in a bit strange direction and wasn't "childish" anymore, which results that I didn't liked the last bit a lot. It is a classic story which everybody should know about.
