It is a story that makes one think about charity. Sometimes the story is a bit dark but also not too dark. It is very interesting to join Scrooge during the visits of the ghosts and also during his visits with the family, acquaintances etc. I enjoyed it to see the change in Scrooges attitude.
It is a great story that I will read again and that I can highly recommend.
